Technique: Picture Piecing
I love plants, especially succulents. I admire their hardiness and the way they can reproduce. Amazing how just a small leaf can throw off roots if dropped. This quilt was so much fun to make! Lots of pretty batiks! I made it during Covid to keep me sane. Took 15 months to complete. Used a palette of 160 fabrics. Approximately 18,500 pattern pieces. There is a honeybee amid the leaves on the left side.
