Split Rail

I work from photographs, and was trying to recreate the interesting effect the light created on the rough hewn fence. I created this quilt using my Picture Piecing technique. This quilt is shown in the book The Visual Dance--Creating Spectacular Quilts by Joen Wolfrom.
