Great Horned Owl

Nancy has made at least 6 picture pieced patterns from England Design and she says that so far the Great Horned Owl pattern is her favorite. She frames her quilts in wood frames made by her husband, Chuck, and then finishes off the frame with a plexiglass covering to protect the quilt.

Nancy says she chose to make the owl quilt as she and her husband are volunteers with the Three Rivers Avian Center in Brooks, WV. They transport injured birds to them.
